Too often does a HOA work against individual homeowners and abuse its position in the neighborhood. Every homeowner has rights afforded by our nation's Constitution, and our national cause is devoted to stopping every corrupt practice handed down and used by homeowner associations.

Rogue HOA boards dictate and bully to intimidate. Intimidated become complacent then apathy sets in. Apathy leads to dependence, dependence to ... bondage.

Example of HOA Dictatorial behavior resulting in homeowner Bondage:
• Homeowner, Adrian Beltrand complained (correctly) to the HOA board of an unauthorized project (not presented to the membership for a full vote as a project of this magnitude and expense is to be).
• Several HOA board members met with Beltrand and explained the framing and installing of roofs over all units "sun decks" (off master bedrooms) as a "Board Decision"!
Beltrand, intimidated became complacent, excepted apathy then fell into compliance and finally "BONDAGE".
• However, Beltrand had his final say, "they all better get the roofs or mine is coming off"! Nice guy!

Question: Well we who can, help those in bondage?
Our Goal: Better laws to protect the abused and give them hope. Help with qualified attorney. Help with legal expenses when and if needed. All state attorney's general must be given authority to prosecute HOA abuse cases as we now have in Indiana.
